Clinton Heylin is an English author who has written extensively about popular music and the work of Bob Dylan. From All Music: "There are several Bob Dylan biographies available, and Heylin's Bob Dylan: Behind the Shades is not necessarily the most comprehensive. However, it's the most useful and balanced general overview of his career, drawing information and perspectives from many sources, and covering his post- mid-'70s activities with as much attention as the singer's more celebrated earlier life." Bob Dylan: Behind the Shades was republished in a revised second edition: Bob Dylan: Behind The Shades - Take Two (UK edition, 2000), Bob Dylan: Behind The Shades Revisited (US edition, 2001) In 2011, to mark Dylan's 70th birthday, Heylin published Behind the Shades: The 20th Anniversary Edition, which contained 60,000 words of new material to cover Dylan's work since 2000. Most items ship with tracking numbers and (generally over $15.00) jacket protectors if applicable. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible.
