Very light wear to the book and jacket, clean and unmarked. Bit whiffy. John Beauchamp Jones, called a Confederate Pepys, was a well regarded and best selling author before the war. Earl Schenck Miers was an American historian. He wrote over 100 published books, mostly about the history of the American Civil War. Some of them were intended for children, including three historic novels in the We Were There series. First printing, no others noted. Most items ship with free delivery confirmation, electronic tracking and jacket protectors (generally over $10.00) if applicable. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible.
