Illustrated by photographs of the Teaxs sculptor's work. Jamison died in Aspen in 2007. From his obituary: " Bill Jamison was a professional artist for over 50 years, specializing in sculpture and painting. Over the years he had studios in Dallas, Aspen, Pietrasanta, Italy, and California, where he produced works in stone and bronze as well as paintings in different media. Jamison was born in Texas, raised in the oil fields, where his father worked. He attended Texas Christian University, studying journalism and art. From his studio in Dallas he became a prominent artist of his time there."
