A part of the Naturalist's Library. Vol. 1 of the 4 volume Birds of G.B. and Ireland and vol. 9 of the Ornithology section of the Naturalist's Library. With a frontispiece portrait of Sibbald; black and white engraved half title page of gentleman and lady hunting with hawk on horseback; plain title page, 315pp; 34 hand coloured plates of the birds and their eggs, all present and correct.
