Third printing. Much, much shelf wear to tips, corners, and edges of the book, covers rubbed, tear to the front endpaper, paper adhering to the covers (remnants of a jacket I guess) jacket, tear at top front gutter, scattered staining. The 407 page edition. First published in May, 1924 this copy is the third printing of July, 1925. Starting as a needlework magazine in the 1880's Modern priscilla evolved into a general homemaking magazine until ceasing publication in 1930. Fannie Merritt Farmer was among their early 20th century editors. Books and other items ship promptly with a tracking number and (generally over $15.00) jacket protectors if applicable. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible. The Book Shed has a been a member of the Vermont Antiquarian Bookseller's Association since 1997.
