The Book Shed

Special binding. This is the "Bridal Edition", rather than leather bound it is in a distinctive (imitation) mother-of-pearl binding. All edges gilt, marker ribbon. Meant, of course, to be carried by the bride during the ceremony. Foreword by Father Theodore Hesburgh, President of Notre Dame University. Very light wear to tips, corners, and edges of the book. Bridal Edition, first published in 1967, a "new printing" of 1973. Books and other items ship promptly with a tracking number and (generally over $15.00) jacket protectors if applicable. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible. The Book Shed has a been a member of the Vermont Antiquarian Bookseller's Association since 1997.
