Fourth printing. Very light shelf wear to tips, corners, and edges of the book, more to the jacket which is edge worn, rubbed, chipped at the spine tips, several short closed tears. Clean and unmarked. In addition to writing and publishing his newsletter, In Fact: An Antidote for Falsehood in the Daily Press, "a four-page weekly compendium of news other newspapers wouldn't print." Seldes wrote many books whose theme was the subversion of freedom by corporate and monied interests. Time magazine (whose publisher Henry R. Luce appears repeatedly, as you would expect, in the pages of the book) called One Thousand Americans (the real rulers of the U.S.A.) "a collection of truths, half-truths and untruths about the U.S. press and industry." Books and other items ship promptly with a tracking number and (generally over $15.00) jacket protectors if applicable. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible.
